The Captain's Coat is like a Swiss Army Knife, it's timeless, smart, practical, rugged, suave and everything that a Captain needs to be each and everyday. 

We have worked really hard to ensure this coat feels just like one you have had for years and that it does indeed last years.

This edition is made with a heavy navy wool melton to give a totally different profile to our classic. These are made in limited quantities and will not be repeated.

Taking Inspiration from our archive Deal Coat featured in the 1905 catalogue, the Captain’s coat is designed to be hard wearing and durable. It serves perfectly as an overcoat to the various suits that we make. The Coat can be layered with the Reversible Vest for added warmth and insulation during colder months.

The jacket is made from heavy 600gsm wool Melton. It fastens with large etched corozo nut buttons , made for us in the Cotswolds, UK. The cuffs have adjustable buttoned cuffs. There are two generous front pockets with flaps, there’s also an internal chest pocket. The Captains Coat is fully lined with lightweight cotton Silesia.

All the Coats are sequentially numbered by the maker on the inside label as they leave our sewing room.

We recommend that these are cleaned as minimally as possible for longevity. Our garment refresher is perfect for eliminating odour after daily wear.

The coat is dry clean only.
